Read some good stuff on the development of linguistics, and the division into psycholinguistics and sociolinguistics. Started reading more on sociolinguistics in a book by Ranko Bugarski, an eminent Serbian linguist. It’s going to be very interesting to see the analysys of languages in Yugoslavia in the 80s.
The run was great. Full 5 km, no slowing down, no mouth inhales. At the beginning of the run there was slight piercing pain below the right rib, but it went away after a lap.
It’s still confusing me. the fact that my running, the thing that I thought would be most difficult, would not only go smoothly, but better than I thought was possible. More on that tomorrow.
